Lightbulb Improv is Canberra’s premiere improvisation troupe. Lightbulb takes audiences on unscripted and daring journeys, through storytelling, games, clowning, songs and fearless theatre that frees the mind, moves the body and delights the intellect.
Since 2016, Lightbulb Improv has performed a monthly comedy show and appeared in a number of festivals. Lightbulb Improv promotes a style of play that is mischievous and sincere with strong elements of physicality and storytelling. Co-founders, Lou Maconachie and Amy Crawford are keen to share the Lightbulb style of play, collaborate with other troupes and find the joy of free-play offered by NZIF.
