This workshop encourages participants to face - and embrace - two of their greatest fears: the things they “always do wrong”, and the things they’re afraid to do.
In the first part of the workshop, players will experiment with their existing tics and habits, and explore how we can magnify them to create wild, outrageous characters the like they may never have seen or played before. In the second part, we’ll look at how we can go about identifying, facing, and playing with the themes and characters that scare us, with the aim of decreasing the genuine fear we feel, and setting us free to engage with these concepts as performers.
